The knife is based on premium powder steel Böhler M390 with a hardness of 62 HRC, a recognized leader among modern tool steels. The blade has high wear resistance: The M390 demonstrates outstanding cutting edge durability even during prolonged and intensive use. In addition, the steel has excellent corrosion resistance due to its high chromium content and carefully controlled production, which makes the knife as unpretentious as possible to environmental conditions, including in a humid environment.
The handle is a real ensemble of natural and technological aesthetics: carbon fiber, Karelian birch and black hornbeam combine here. The combination of materials not only gives the knife a unique appearance, emphasizing the handiwork, but also guarantees a reliable grip in various conditions. Carbon fiber provides lightness and additional strength, Karelian birch provides natural warmth and a pleasant tactile sensation, and black hornbeam provides moisture resistance and wear resistance. The ergonomic shape of the handle and its length (135 mm) make the knife convenient even for prolonged one-handed operation, including with gloves.
The blade is made in the form of a Drop Point: a universal geometry that combines a durable tip and ease of cutting. The thickness of the butt 3.5 mm and the length of the blade 105 mm make it possible to handle both precise and delicate tasks with equal confidence, as well as more rough work, including cutting, cooking, woodwork and even some types of hunting work.
The genuine leather of the scabbard represents not only the aesthetics of classical traditions, but also practicality: reliable fixation, durability and wearing comfort.
Thanks to the M390, the knife is not afraid of moisture — it is enough to rinse and wipe dry after use. To maintain the perfect appearance of the woody parts of the handle (Karelian birch and black hornbeam), it is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with water and periodically treat with natural oil. Carbon fiber does not require special care. Knife sharpening should be approached carefully, using modern diamond or ceramic abrasives — M390 steel is characterized by a rather difficult sharpening, but it does not lose its sharpness for a long time.
This knife is the optimal choice for those who are looking for an exceptional versatile tool for outdoor activities and hunting, combining advanced features of modern steel, premium natural materials and original design. It will be especially valuable to people who respect the high quality of handmade work and the aesthetics of unique materials. For tasks with extreme loads that require flexibility or impact on hard surfaces, it is recommended to choose specialized tools. It is ideal for collectors, hunters and tourism enthusiasts who appreciate the combination of practicality, unique appearance and operational reliability.
