Detailed analysis of the properties and features of the knife
- Blade steel — Damascus, HRC 62: Damascus steel is famous for its unique pattern and combination of high strength with aesthetics. The hardness of 62 HRC indicates outstanding wear resistance and excellent ability to keep sharpening for a long time, even during intensive work. Due to the multi-layered structure of the damascus, the knife is resistant to chipping and perfectly copes with impact and chopping loads, which is especially important for a machete.
- Dimensions and parameters of the blade: The 320 mm long, 6 mm thick and 60 mm wide blade provides the machete with impressive cutting power and durability. This geometry is great for working in harsh conditions, such as cutting shrubs, small branches, and clearing trails. The heavy blade, combined with Damascus steel, guarantees a powerful cut and a confident blow.
- Handle material — wenge: The wenge tree is famous for its density, hardness and natural resistance to moisture and temperature changes. This handle fits perfectly in the hand, does not slip even with wet palms, and also retains its appearance and structure during prolonged use in nature. The 145 mm long handle provides a secure grip for both standard cutting and controlled precision actions.
- Genuine leather scabbard: The leather sheath securely locks the massive blade, ensures safe transportation and quick access to the tool. The leather is durable, perfectly protects the steel from external influences and emphasizes the handmade status.
- Resistance to moisture and corrosion: Damascus steel, especially with proper care, is quite resistant to corrosion, but requires regular cleaning and lubrication after contact with moisture. Wenge conscientiously resists deformation and rotting, but it is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to water.
- Ease of maintenance: Due to its high hardness, the blade retains its sharpening for a long time, but it will require a professional approach and high-quality abrasives for Damascus. The knife is easy to maintain with timely maintenance and compliance with care recommendations.
Optimal application and advantages
- It is ideal for tourism, survivalists, summer residents and hunters: it perfectly copes with chopping wood, clearing trails, preparing firewood, and building shelters.
- It will be useful on the farm, on a picnic — for large-scale cutting operations.
- Collectors and connoisseurs of handmade work will appreciate it: the expressive Damask pattern makes the knife not only an effective tool, but also an object of unique art.
- It fits perfectly in the hand even during long-term operation due to ergonomics and handle material.
- The combination of Damascus steel and wenge is a premium level of aesthetics and reliability.
Limitations and areas where the knife does not fit well
-
It is not intended for fine kitchen slicing, filigree work on meat and vegetables — because of the large shape and weight.

- It is not recommended for use in conditions of constant contact with water (fishing, hiking) without regular maintenance — Damascus steel requires corrosion protection.
- It is not suitable for children and people without experience handling large knives — the weight and size require confident and safe handling.
Knife care
- Wipe the blade dry after each use, especially after contact with moisture.
- It is recommended to periodically lubricate the blade with special oils to protect the Damascus steel.
- The wenge handle is practically maintenance-free, but for maximum service life, it can sometimes be wiped with natural wood oil.
- Keep the knife in dry conditions, as far away from direct heat and sunlight as possible, to avoid cracking the wood and drying out the skin of the sheath.
Final recommendation
This knife impresses with a combination of high—end materials, outstanding durability and authentic handwork - optimal for those who are looking for a reliable tool for heavy tasks in nature, as well as appreciating the collectible aesthetics of Damascus steel. The best choice for experienced hunters, tourists, summer residents and collectors. It is not recommended for everyday kitchens and for users who are not ready to pay attention to regular maintenance of the blade. If power, spectacular appearance and durability are important to you, this is your knife.

Подарил отцу. Он влюбился с первого взгляда. Испытает в деле дополню. Один изъянчик, клепка на чехле отвалилась. Клепанулась на искосок, поэтому не удержалась. Поправимо. На вид нож огонь!
