This handmade knife is made on the basis of modern M390 powder steel, which has high hardness (62 HRC), outstanding wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The M390 steel is considered the benchmark for premium knives due to its combination of exceptional sharpness, long-lasting sharpness and almost complete immunity to moisture and aggressive environments. The perfect geometry of the blade (thickness 2.4 mm, length 140 mm, width 25 mm) provides an excellent balance between strength, cutting control and versatility for various tasks.
The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch, one of the most beautiful and durable natural materials, specially treated to protect against moisture, swelling and cracking. The gorgeous deep red shade of the wood is in harmony with the inserts made of nickel silver, a noble alloy characterized by wear resistance and corrosion resistance. This combination emphasizes the uniqueness of each product, as well as guarantees aesthetics for years to come.
The 125 mm long handle with ergonomic shapes ensures a secure and comfortable grip in both dry and wet conditions. The stabilized Karelian birch does not slip, and the tactile sensations emphasize the premium level of the knife. Nickel-silver inserts increase durability and add additional reliability to the structure.
The classic shape of the Normal Blade makes this knife extremely versatile: it is ideal for precise cutting movements and makes it easy to cut fish, do small food work, and prepare game. The sufficient thickness of the butt (2.4 mm) ensures durability and resistance to breakage, and the sharp factory sharpening shows the true potential
of M390 steel.
Due to its balanced combination of strength, sharpness and aesthetics, this knife is especially recommended for fishermen, hunters, tourists, handmade connoisseurs and collectors. The model is universal for cutting fish, cooking in nature, precise household tasks, as well as as a status gift. For professional chefs, it is suitable as an auxiliary knife, but it will not replace a heavy kitchen tool for chopping bones.
Care: The knife does not require complicated maintenance – it is enough to wash, wipe dry and periodically lubricate the blade with neutral oil to maintain its original appearance. It is recommended to sharpen only on specialized systems in order to maintain the excellent cutting properties of M390 powder steel. The handle made of stabilized birch is resistant to moisture, but it is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with aggressive cleaning agents.
A brief recommendation: This knife is an ideal choice for those who value premium materials, excellent handmade aesthetics, maximum functionality in fishing, hiking and hunting tasks, as well as durability and ease of care. It is not suitable for those who need a knife for heavy power work or “batoning" on wood.
