The blade of this knife is made of S390 powder steel, one of the most modern and high–tech types of tool steel. The S390 has impressive hardness (up to 70 HRC), which provides unsurpassed cutting edge durability and exceptional wear resistance. This knife perfectly retains its factory sharpening even after prolonged and intensive work, and due to its high strength, the blade is resistant to discoloration and deformation when properly selected tasks.
The handle is a combination of Karelian birch, treated with durable acrylic, and noble nickel silver. Karelian birch is known for its unique texture, and the acrylic coating not only emphasizes the deep natural pattern, but also protects the wood from moisture and mechanical damage. Inserts made of nickel silver add exclusivity, aesthetic value and durability – such a knife is equally pleasant to hold, use, and collect. The handle length (125 mm) allows you to comfortably hold the knife even in a glove or wet hand.
Classic leather scabbards are provided for storage and transportation, emphasizing the status of the product and providing additional protection.
S390 is a premium grade tool steel with a high content of tungsten, vanadium and cobalt. This combination of elements provides excellent wear resistance, sharpening stability and minimal susceptibility to deformation. The hardness of 70 HRC significantly exceeds the performance of most knives in the mass segment and even many original products. The S390 blades are ideal for working on the hardest materials: wood, leather, thick fabric, rubber and even small bones. In addition, steel shows high corrosion resistance, although it is recommended to wipe and dry the knife when in contact with an acidic environment or aggressive moisture.
At the same time, the S390 requires careful handling: due to its high hardness, the blade is not designed for cutting large bones or heavy impact loads - increased brittleness is the downside of the phenomenal cutting ability.
The handle made of Karelian birch with acrylic treatment combines the warm feeling of natural wood and the practicality of modern materials. Thanks to the acrylic, the handle is resistant to moisture, does not absorb dirt and retains its perfect appearance for a long time. Even after prolonged use, the handle remains comfortable, does not slip or rub the hand, and decorative elements made of nickel silver add additional rigidity and sophistication. This design holds up perfectly even in difficult weather conditions, suitable for both long trips to nature and for collection purposes.

Recommendations for use and care
This product will become indispensable for demanding hunters, tourists, professional and amateur cooks, as well as collectors who appreciate premium materials, handmade uniqueness and an author's approach to detail. The S390 blade requires delicate care: clean and dry after each use, avoid impact loads, and use high-grade abrasives for sharpening. The handle does not need special impregnations, but it is recommended to wipe it periodically with a dry cloth. Keep the leather sheath in a dry place to avoid mold formation.
Bottom line: this knife is the choice of connoisseurs of premium materials and high cutting ability who are looking for the perfect balance between aesthetics and practicality for precise, demanding tasks. If your goal is hard work on hard materials or "universal scrap", it is better to choose a different solution.
