Blade steel: X12MF is a tool steel with a high carbon and chromium content (analog of D2), known for outstanding wear resistance and hardness. The hardness of 61-62 HRC guarantees excellent retention of the cutting edge: the knife retains its factory sharpness for a long time, even with active use. Due to the chromium content, steel is moderately resistant to corrosion, which is especially important for field conditions, but requires timely cleaning and maintenance. After contact with moisture, it is recommended to wipe the blade dry and apply protective oil.
Handle material: rosewood + acrylic — a combination of warm noble rosewood and moisture-resistant acrylic. Rosewood is not only aesthetically attractive, but also pleasant to the touch, does not slip even in a wet hand, and acrylic inserts enhance moisture resistance, preventing water from entering the handle. This combination is durable, does not crack or warp over time.
Geometry: Normal Blade is a classic blade shape with a straight back and a moderate rise in the cutting edge line. The blade length of 148 mm, thickness of 2.4 mm and width of 32 mm form a universal balance between penetration, cutting efficiency and control over the tool. The blade is especially suitable for precision work, cutting food, butchering fish and meat, as well as for tourism and hunting.

Wear resistance and care. The cutting edge of the knife made of X12MF demonstrates exceptional resistance to wear and is slightly blunt. Maintenance of steel is regular wiping after use and maintaining cleanliness. The rosewood and acrylic handle does not require any specific treatment — periodic cleaning with a soft cloth is sufficient.
