The blade is made of Damascus steel, a legendary material that combines dozens of layers of various steels, which provides impressive wear resistance, elasticity and a unique appearance with a characteristic beautiful pattern. The hardness of the blade at 62 HRC guarantees excellent sharpening retention, high cutting ability and resistance to discoloration of the cutting edge when used correctly.
The handle is made of natural birch bark and decorated with nickel silver inserts. Birch bark has been valued in Russia for centuries for its lightness, warm texture and excellent tenacity even in wet conditions — the knife does not slip into the palm of your hand, and the handle warms up quickly even in cold weather. Nickel-silver elements not only decorate the product, but also increase its resistance to moisture, corrosion and wear. The knife is equipped with a guard for additional safety when working.
The Normal Blade is versatile: its outstanding geometry and balanced width (26 mm) make it possible to work confidently on both products and wood, hide or fabrics. The 2.4mm blade thickness provides a perfect balance between durability and the ability to cut accurately.
Due to the combination of strength, hardness and structure of Damascus steel, as well as the comfortable ergonomics of the handle, this knife is a reliable choice for hunting, hiking, fishing and outdoor activities. It can easily handle trophy cutting, outdoor cooking, woodwork, rope cutting or package opening. Aesthetics and handwork also make the knife a worthy collector's item and a gift for a true connoisseur.
To preserve the unique properties of Damascus steel, we recommend regularly cleaning and thoroughly drying the blade after use, especially after contact with moisture and food. Periodically lubricate the blade with a thin layer of mineral oil. The birch bark handle does not require complicated maintenance, however, prolonged exposure to water and temperature fluctuations should not be allowed: it is enough to wipe with a dry cloth after use. The genuine leather sheath preserves the knife, protecting it from damage and moisture.
This knife is an ideal choice for those who appreciate the harmony of aesthetics and practicality: hunters, tourists, fishermen, collectors, as well as for a gift to a real man. Its advantages are maximized in conditions of active recreation and comfortable operation, where versatility, safety and impeccable appearance are important. It is not suitable for rough household work and prolonged contact with moisture without maintenance. A real work of craft art for demanding connoisseurs!
